Parenting Problems:
Similar to relationship problems, parenting problems can
be worked out through re-establishing positive “anchors”,
renewal of the mind, particularly with teenagers, letting
go of control, learning respect and so on. Again, I work individually
with each parent, then the child in question and finally,
a family therapy situation in which the family dynamics are
brought into a clinical setting. This is a very powerful type
of therapy, as it addresses each person’s inner conflict
as well as irrational thinking before bringing everyone together
in a respectful and ordered therapeutic setting, which allows
each person to learn about communication through actual hands-on
practice in the session.
