Parenting problems may need family therapy to address the issues. However, if you believe that your problems may be related to your own issues from the past, individual sessions to start with may alleviate the problems to a degree. People often find that the issues they have with their own children are similar to the issues they had with their own parents. Children do not live in a vaccuum. Resolving your own issues may help your child/children’s issues. After your own individual session(s), parents often find family therapy no longer necessary. However, if the issues need to be addressed as a family, Inner Change Counselling is a process-oriented model of therapy, so that the focus is on experiencing future possibilities rather than focusing on problems, so that whole-family healing and harmony can be achieved.

I ask scaling questions so that you yourself will notice the change within you, not just because you think so, but because you KNOW so. Please feel free to leave a comment or question.
